We arrived at 2am and the check in was quick and easy. The room was clean, but it did need some TLC. The bath was dented and stained and the back of the bathroom door had bad water damage, fixed by tape. The room was clean, and the cleaner Ariane does a good job. This is not a place for a peaceful stay. The music plays loud until 2am and starts late morning. The restaurant area does not have a no smoking area, and it was filled with smokers. This was every day. As non smokers, that meant that the restaurant area was a no go area for us as I am allergic to smoke. The pool was lovely, a good size and well maintained. This is one of the cheaper hotels and you get what you pay for. Air con is an extra £42 per week. We managed without it, but we had to have airflow through the room each time we returned as it was unbearably hot. Had the temperature been much more than 28 degrees outside in the day, then you would have to stomach the overpriced air con. Because we didn’t eat in the restaurant because of the smoke, the staff were increasingly nonchalant towards us, three of them turning their back on us once as we did the necessary walk through. Other people said how friendly the staff were. Maybe we just didn’t spend enough time there.

Honest review of good & bad. Firstly i would like to stay the staff from management to the young lads working around the hotel and the most friendliest ever, always there to help. Rooms are nice and spacious with good size balconies. AC is fitted in the rooms but you have to pay to use them. We paid £56 a week for 2 rooms. There was just no way to survive without them. Irons are only provided at front desk for £3 a day. They have some sort of entertainment every night, from bingo to karaoke to turkish nights etc, these can sometimes go on past midnight and do disturb sleep. The rooms are not soundproof as stated. I also read somewhere it’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s not!! It takes at least 15-20mins and if your with young children possibly longer. Bedsheets were covered in stains. Twice i had to ask the room keeper to change them. Pillow cases had yellow stains all down the sides and bedsheets with blue marks all over it. No lifts in the property so can get a little difficult going up three floors with young children/disabilities.

This is our 5th year at Club Evin and we love it! We are a big family with 5 children under 5, the staff are amazing all day from breakfast to round the pool to the evening & entertaining. The rooms was very well facilitated for self catering, from all the bars and food places by far the best food and extremely cheap. We will be coming again next year!
